A lot of people email me asking me what type of bodyguard do they need. This is a very broad question, almost like asking someone what kind of car do they need without telling you the details of what they need the car for.

So it’s important to have a few things in mind when looking to find out what type of bodyguard you are looking for.  The #1 question to ask is “Why do you need a bodyguard”.
Is your life at risk? Are you in the spot light or entertainment industry? Are you famous?  Are you wealthy or carry a lot of cash or valuables?

So you first need to establish the reason you need to hire a bodyguard. Once thats established it will be a lot to decide what type of bodyguard you should get. A big burly guy who is just there to intimidate , or an armed trained fighter who blends in with everyone else.
